As a musician and songwriter born into the great line of Kouyate Griot in Southern Senegal, Kadialy’s mesmerising kora playing embraces the art of storytelling, via the 21-stringed kora, and draws on heritage to inspire new, uplifting compositions.


OUTSTANDING - TIMBA MM

‘Outstanding’ blends inspired Cuban music with a melange of jazz, samba, flamenco and world music of the Americas. Timba MM is a Montreal-based group of new generation Cuban-style musicians formed in 2012. The members are all in love with Havana and Cuban sounds. Classified as World Music / Latin / Afro Cuban, this is a project that celebrates original repertoire as well as covers of great classics of Latin music.

Songs of Exile - Abdelli

Songs of Exile is an album borne from an incredible life story, exploring the feelings associated with exile, loss and nostalgia. Sung in Abdelli’s native Berber tongue, he blends his Kabyle vocals and mandola skills with the works of other talented musicians from far and wide. The sad issues that shadow this world are acknowledged, mixed and uplifted by the inspiration and unity of different cultures.
