Nour-Eddine presents music inspired by and close to the musical tradition of the Berbers of the Rif mountains in the north of Morocco. A very spiritual CD with powerful, almost hypnotic Moroccan rhythms and ritualistic percussion as well as call-and-response singing.
The instrumentation is traditional such as oud (lute), darbouka (drum), djembe (drum), saghat (finger zymbals), ghaita (oboe) and many others. There are two bonus dance tracks (remixes) at the end of the CD.
1. DAR EDDAMANAT (House of Faith) - 7:09
2. TALAÀ ALBADROU ALAINA (The Full Moon Has Enlightened Us) (trad.) - 8:35
3. MARHABAT (Welcome) - 3:49
4. AID ZAITOUN (Festival of Olives) - 3:34
5. FATIMA ZOHRA (A song dedicated to women) - 7:34
