Kostas Pavlidis is one of the great Gypsy singers. This CD presents a collection of romantic Greek songs accompanied by beautifully orchestrated music, incorporating traditional instruments such as the bouzouki, classical guitar, lyra (fiddle), ney (flute), zurna (shawm), oud, baglama (lutes), accordion and more. The result is a rich tapestry of Mediterranean colours with Kostas’ voice floating over the music.
