This album presents the great variety of Eastern European music and instruments, from Latvian sealskin bagpipes, to Belarusian tsimbali, to Moldavian Gypsy brass music and to the intricate, Balkan-influenced rhythms of southern Romania and Hungary. A musical journey from the Baltic Sea states through Poland and Ukraine to southern Hungary. This compilation also includes typical East European Klezmer.
