“The Burning Bush” are Britain’s most widely acclaimed Jewish music ensemble. They combine the talents of five of Britain’s foremost performers in the field of early and traditional music. Their interpretations are based upon careful research and the use of traditional instruments. The group was formed after singer and broadcaster Lucie Skeaping was commissioned to make a programme to mark the quincentenary of the expulsion of the Jews from Spain, and to research her own roots. A varied and interesting album.
